Where would I catch a bus, combi, or cooster from Miraflores to Barranco? Is there something that runs from the Parque Kennedy area to the main plaza in Barranco maybe?

Karen: No problem! I don't remember writing anything in the CE blank. By Lloyd is right - just take extra copies of the form so that if they tell you that something is wrong, you can just fill out another one for them!

Coffee and conversation was fun yesterday. The new meeting place is easy to find - right on Javier Prado at Los Frutales. The highlight of the meetup of course was getting to see the awesome Maya!

Gene and I are looking forward to seeing the group - or those who can make it - today. We have a meeting at 2:30 and if all goes well, will be by Starbucks on Av Begonia across from Tottus in San Isidro after that - maybe even by 4:30 or so!

My husband flew in to Lima last night from Miami - on Spirit Air. No one asked him for a return ticket or onward passage or anything else. So far we've never been asked, but realize it's the "luck of the draw!"

Gene's Spirit Air flight landed last night at around 11 with no problems. There were a lot of flights coming in and the international arrival area was pretty much the same as always.

Any suggestions for how to get home if one gets invited out for Christmas Eve? I recall that last year there were NO taxis on the road late night after dinner. Someone even tried to call one for me and there were none available. Finally - after an hour or so, was able to flag one down on the street....
