In this case, I typed in RSVP for you so you only need to click here to find out what it means. It is said that if you do your own research, you better retain the information.

Well gang, remember that the potluck is this coming Sunday the 29th at 3 p.m. at my house. PM me for address, directions, etc. So far we have about a dozen people as far as I can tell, maybe a few more. Princesa, aka Daddy's Little Monarch, has agreed to grant an audience to all in attendance, especially those who pass her bits of food under the table.

I want to thank everybody who came on Sunday the 29th. We had a nice crowd of 14 altogether (Princesa and 13 of her bipedal subjects). Americorps made lovely spaghetti with salsa di pomodoro and garlic bread (and also a goodly portion of a different kind of "sauce" known by Italians as sfacciataggine).

Curlyguy brought a delicious apple pie and there was Chicken Paprika, a delicious cake, loads of appetizers and enough soda pop for an alligator's bubble bath. We all had a good time and there were 6 new faces, including a fellow from Venezuela.

Now we're into June, and it's time to start planning the next get-together for this month. I know Americorps is still getting settled in to his new place, and Jim is out of the country until the end of this month. If necessary I can host again, or perhaps one of our other members would like to do the honors.

OK let's plan on a potluck on the final weekend of June, Saturday the 25th or Sunday the 26th. There might be a possibility of holding off until July 2nd or 3rd in order to celebrate 4th of July, but I am not certain that a U.S.-themed potluck would be entirely appropriate given the various nationalities. In any event, I'd like to ask for some input here as to preferred day and date? Thanks.

That sounds great, I am in. I would prefer the 2nd or 3rd, but not for the holiday, just because that weekend is more open, but I will be available for either.

Well, it looks like no one else is going to be able to host this time around, so we'll have it at my place again on Sunday, July 3rd at 3 p.m. Please RSVP via PM, and I will send you the address and directions to get here. This will again be a potluck.

just saw this, but I would like to catch up and see how everyone's going. I would prefer the Saturday, but the Sunday is entirely fine too as I know some people have work commitments on Saturdays.

I can't really host a meal, but if there's only a few of us, I could host some drinks and we could have some snacks.

We are now up to 12, with an additional 5 regrets for people who will be out of town.

I am excited about reactivating the group and I really hope we can find a few more.

I will be providing the usual spagetti, but before you run screaming from the room, I will have our housekeeper make it because as I remind her every week, she is a great cook.

I have plates and cups and napkins and silverwear and ice.

Everyone should bring one dish to share with everone PLUS a beverage.

Dishes could include bread, chips, deserts, salads, veggies, cheeses, or other main dishes. We are very informal, so you can cook or purchased at the store is the same.

It is also important that everyone feel invited, so please, if bringing food will create a burdon, don´t worry, your presence is the most important gift.

Let me know if you have any questions. I will be sending out a PM with my address closer to the date to those who have RSVP´d.

Well. They are dropping like flies. I had 8 cancellation between late last night and early lhis morning. It looks like it will be a more intimate group of 8 at most and maybe just 6.

Sadly, due to a personal family emergency, I have left Peru and returned to the USA.

At this point, I do not know if or when I will return to Peru, but rest assured I will do everything within my power to do so as fast as possible.
