Maison de Sante

Postby january » Mon Jan 10, 2011 1:02 am

Can anyone please let me know if any of the Maison de Sante clinics offer acupuncture?

My mother has a tear in her rotator cuff and surgery has been ruled out because of her age.
The diagnosis was confirmed here in California.

She will be returning to Mira Flores within a week and I was hoping that someone could also let me know about the quality of physical therapy at the clinics at the Maison de Sante as well as other Lima hospitals.

Any opinions will be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, the Maison does not offer acupuncture or other alternative medicines, however their reputation is quite good, and I am sure that the physical therapy is on a par with any of the other clinics/plans in Lima. i hope your mother has a good recovery.

You can check out Dr. Rafael Chung. He is a chiro educated in the US but has been primarily doing acupuncture for a number of years. Here is his info.

Best of luck.
