MONEY CHANGERS...

One of the "draw-backs" on living in Surquillo; is that there are few (if any) money changers on the street.
I have been told a few business will provide this service; but I have no idea - where they are located.
Can any one advise???

The best money changer in this area is the 'casa de cambio' near the Aurora Wong, which is the directions I sent you.

There's also a casa de cambio inside the Real Plaza Primavera, down on the corner of Angamos with Aviacion. The money changer is down near the end where Ripley is.

Both of those are within about 15 minutes walking distance from you.

You can get better slightly better exchange rates in other places, but you have to balance that with the idea of walking around with $$$ in your pocket.

If there is a Western Union office nearby, try them. I only used them once on a trip to Peru, but it was a good experience.
