Lights and spares for faulty lights

Postby Lloyd007 » Fri Apr 12, 2013 11:23 am

I have a problem with fitted lights in the kitchen and need to get a replacement part.

Where in Lima do they sell odds and ends, bits and bobs, for light fixtures and fittings? I have been to Tomas Marsano (betwen Miraflores and Surco) where there is a couple of markets with lots of stuff, but they don't have the bits.

Any suggestions?

If you don't find it at SODIMAC or MAESTRO (HOMECENTER) you will find it nowhere.

They sell anything you need for your home at democratic prices.

have you ever been to Malvina? thats where you can find all sorts of stuff like that. just isles and isles of home goods. some of it is complete rubbish as for the quality though :D
every place has it's own spirit. you just need to tune into it.

A taxi driver told me there is a lot of places somewhere on Lampa, downtown that sell lights and spares. Anybody know about that?

There are lots of electrical/lighting stands in the galleries around Lampa/Roosevelt and Lampa/Pachitea. Never been into them though - just driven past them.

I have been inside, I happened to be walking past one day. They do have stuff that appears to be different from what's in Sodimac. Most of the stands sell full lighting fixtures, and most of the stands are selling the same ones. Here and there though are other stands that sell, as you say, bits and bobs. Good luck.
