Jirón Huancavelica in Lima centro is full of opticians, but try to take a Peruvian friend with you otherwise you'll be paying a premium.
Other than that there are opticians on every street corner all over Lima. You can't miss them, unless you need glasses

Lince, around block 17 or cuadra 17 of avenida Arequipa, If you take a bus step down a block after centro comercial Risso and walk by the Arequipa avenue . You can find a lot of opticas over there. go with your peruvian wife or a peruvian friend to avoid the gringo fee.

I will ask my girl tonight. I have never seen so many optical stores in my life. She has the receipt and is at work now so I will post the location tonight. She mentioned that this place was a wholesaler for other stores in the area.

Roger, we am glad you had a safe flight; especially using SPIRIT!
I asked my church family in the US, to include you & yours in the PRAYER CHAIN - with the recent tornados in OK; I never experienced one while living in PA - but they seem extremely scary.

Hope you are settling in & will enjoy your time in Peru; we am hoping your many years in FIBER OPTICS will be profitable in Peru. Are you & my contact Richard going to discuss your participation in his venture?

Our sincerest best wishes for you & your Peruvian girlfriend in Peru,
Philip & Rosmery
PS - looking forward to sharing my famous ARROZ ESPECIAL with you guys; sorry, can't divulge the recipe
