Visa For Business

Postby Roger in the US » Sat Aug 17, 2013 10:13 am

I am interested in moving to Peru to start a small business. It seems that many of the qualifications have changed recently after reading many different websites on the net.

What steps are required in simple terms?

Thanks

There are already many informations in this forum. Basically you need a lot of cash. You must deposit $30.000 into a Peruvian bank account and then with the receipt you can do your further paperwork. It does not matter if your business is small or medium, you also must employ 5 Peruvians within the first year.

Here is an official link for your info:

Dear expat,

Getting a business visa is not a simple task to accomplish. It regards to a lot of documentation and at least a USD30,000.00 investment which has to be done all the papers go to the Public Registry and SUNAT.

You can have the requirements at www.digemin.gob.pe

The lenght of this procedure could be about 3-5 months depending on each case complexity.

Good luck.
