Weather and dance!

Postby eve81 » Wed Dec 10, 2014 5:54 am

Hi Guys,

Couple of questions :

1. Im arriving to Lima from London on Sunday and need to know what clothes to bring! how is the weather st the mo? im generally cold alot of the time. Is it too hot for jeans? jackets? i will be in Lima for 10 days and Tacna for 10, in Tacna i know its hot so gonna bring some summer type stuff, but last time i was in Lima in December it wasn't boiling!

Cannot! wait... bring on the inca cola!

2. Would like to take a dance class while im there (im a dance teacher) don't want salsa or ballroom or anything like that, More Jazz/ street or contemporary, anyone know of anywhere i can go, i remember there used to be a gym called 'gold' something?

Thanks for any info, haven't been back to Peru since 2010, really excited! x

Summer in Lima, but you might get a cool evening, so a light jacket might be good. Tacana will be warmer still. Jeans are fine, but you will want light jeans. Bring shorts, too: you won´t regret the decision.

There are dance studios for modern dance which ought to be easy to find with a web search, and there are Gold´s Gyms all over town.

Enjoy your stay!

If you want to do something like Zumba, most of the gyms seem to be running classes.

Have a nice time in Peru. And as the others say it's hot at the moment.
