How long to the airport from surco.

How long do you think itll take to get to the airport from surco, from very close to the militar airport in surco? In the morning during a weekday? Friday, when the flight leaves about 1030am or so.

An hour or therabouts.

It is what I was thinking, it has taken me an hour to go from here to the center of san isidro in the past, man I hate the traffic in Lima.

It is an hour if there are no problems. I took a taxi from Surco to the airport about a year ago and the taxi had a flat and required me to find another taxi. Traffic was a nightmare and ended up missing my flight. Cost me a 600 dollar penalty for my kid and myself to return to the states. It was Spirit and they are complete assholes when you miss a flight. Do yourself a favor and plan on 2 hours.

Yes, about 40 min to an hour to get there if there is no traffic (such as 10pm).

Getting back can take longer with Costa Verde still only going one way. Picked up someone from the airport last week and getting there was no problem. Getting back sucked.

I live very close to the military airport in Surco too! In my handful of trips at various times of day, it has routinely taken me just over an hour. With the exception of one Friday evening where it was almost 2 hours, unsurprisingly.

How long is a piece of string? At that time of the morning, with rush hour traffic and roadworks on Costa Verde, you basically want to leave at about 7:00, which should get you to the airport before 8:00, but the later you leave it, the longer it takes.
