i guess i should have just said rum. i'm no scotch/whiskey aficionado. i do, however like to mix natural fruit juices with some good rum. one juice in particular is "maracuya" (spelling?) sometimes at the local "menu", they'll serve that with your meal, and i'll ask for a bag to go, and later in the evening have a mixed drink (or 2).
windsportin: never had the pisco and chicha, but have had the homemade chicha with rum, and found it pretty good.
