Rentista visa help

Postby nomadperu » Sat Apr 16, 2016 6:18 pm

I have spent the last 7 or 8 years going in and out of Peru on a tourist visa. I tired of the running back and forth and who knows, Migracion may even start to enforce their 183 day in a calendar year rule. Anyway, I would like to get my Rentista visa. I've read what is written online, but I would really like to have someone who has experienced the process and who is fluent in Spanish accompany me. Is that something someone might be willing to do or am I asking the impossible? I will be leaving again the first part of June.

There are people that work there who can help you through the process (fill out the forms, submit papers on your behalf, expedite the scheduling). It isn't free though, of course.

I know a good lawyer who can help you get your rentista visa for $500. Send me a PM if you want his contact information.

I've tried twice to send a PM to you, Polaron, but The system won't send it. Yes, I would like that info.

My wife and I are moving to Peru in July and are also interested in starting the rentista visa process. We have a Spanish speaking friend so could probably do it ourselves. However, after living in China for six years and Thailand for the last three, I know how much easier it is to get help from people who understand the process! Will attempt to send you a PM, Polaron, for further info on assistance.
