What is the typical cost for a colonoscopy in Peru?
Thanks for the help.

This thread below may help you.
Regardless, if done incorrectly, I'd sue the pants off them.

I wouldn't get a risky and important medical treatment done in Peru.

You'll better get it done in your homecountry. If you are working then then the health insure which your employer has to paid for by law will foot the bill.
If you aren't working then social services will take care of the bill.

I agree with Cactus.
Even at a democratic price in Peru, it's not worth the risk.

I'll see if I can find out. An in-law had one fairly recently so I should be able to ask.

I would only go to a top hospital though, like Delgado.

This Thread reminds me of a joke that was popular about 30 years ago:

So I did ask the person, but they said it was paid for with insurance so it was basically free and they don't know what the cost would be without insurance. However, they guessed (and this is just a guess) that it would probably be about 800 soles. Sorry this isn't more useful.

There are plenty of clinics in Lima that are on par with the best in the world, look up medical tourism.
