Manufactured housing

Does anyone have information concerning manufactured housing in Peru?
Years ago, people referred to these houses as "trailers", but they have come a long way.
What companies offer MH's in Peru?
What are the average costs for a 2 bedrooms, 2 baths model?
Are there any issues with transporting these MH's?

These trailers are popular summer or winter homes at social clubs a the beach, and you are right, they have come a long way. Some are downright luxurious. I know of a few cases where the family has the trailer at the beach in summer, and then in the hills close to Lima in the winter. Sorry I can't tell you about the logistics of the move, but many people do it, so it's absolutely doable.

I have never seen the "pre-fab/mobile home" type houses here. The option people tend to go for are more like kit/modular homes, probably because moving something as large as a one of these American-styled mobile homes would be complicated, whereas slapping something together (or disassembling then reassembling) is more viable -- and probably cheaper, too.
