Need help with translating an "old" word

Hello,

a German friend of mine (normally his Spanish is much better than mine) read in one of Ricarda Palma´s Tradiciones (La altivez de una limeña) a word which he and I and no dictionaries and not Google know. Probably one of you can help with translating it. The word is "ENGUINFINGALTAS".

Anyone has an idea what it means or knows a good dictionary where I probably find it?

A Peruvian academic friend of mine says the word appears to be made up. It does not follow any grammatical structure he is familiar with.

'Tradiciones Peruanas", what a wonderful reading. Very challenging castillian spanish, I am impressed.
This was one of my favorites when growing up in Peru. My father used to quote Ricardo Palma a lot.

.... y demás enguinfingalfas que trae consigo un litigio, Yes, this must be one word created by Don Ricardo. In this context, it would mean: all the nonsense (or mess) brought up by a lawsuit.
