MRI

My husband's doctor in the USA has ordered him to get an MRI on his foot. We are traveling to Peru in March and are considering having it done there and saving roughly a $1000. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a place to have the MRI done. Also, has anyone had this done in Peru and can tell me their experience?

I Had an MRI done here in Lima about 4 months ago on my knee. Paid about $200.00 Not sure what the cost is back in the states ,but that is what i paid here. Everything went fine was pleased with the results. Mine was done at Centro De Resonancia Magnetica Nuclear, Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza. Done in an hour and picked up the films next day. Very nice people to work with.

I went with a relative to a place in San Isidro. My cousin wanted me to go with him, because he is claustrophofic and he paid around 900 soles. (around 320 usd)

It was done about 1 month ago.

They are asking between $1000 and $1500 for the MRI here in the USA. Antonio do you know where you had the MRI done?

Looks like u can also get one done at Clinica San Felipe, the Anglo Americana clinic and Resomasa..

I had an MRI done at the Clinica Ricardo Palma, but I've since forgotten how much it cost. I think a rough estimate would be around $400 but that is really a guess.
