Archstone Appraisal Group, based out of Washington D.C. in the United States, is currently seeking researchers for our commercial real estate appraisal group. A researcher’s role is to support our appraisers in data collection and intelligence for the commercial real estate appraisal reports we issue to our clients. Candidate(s) will be working from our Lima, Peru office with our Peru-based team. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
-Very high level of written and spoken English (Ideally a candidate will have lived a few years in an English-speaking country and feel comfortable with a near-native level of English. In lieu of this, a candidate should feel comfortable reading and understanding legal documents and navigating through some complex ideas)
-Native or fluent Spanish
-Bachelor’s degree (recent graduates with good command of Excel and otherwise good computer skills are encouraged to apply)
-Enjoys investigating and is impeccably attentive to details.
-Is highly organized and skilled at searching for information on the web.
-Is comfortable with delicate data entry
-Is flexible and has a positive attitude.
-Has a high level of integrity and ethical standards.
Some pluses would be any familiarity with commercial real estate or real estate in general, as well as a basic working knowledge of U.S. state and local governmental structures (i.e. basics such as the difference between a county, borough and a city).
We have a friendly and supportive work environment. New hires will pass through a hands-on training process and will be offered continual support along the way. Expertise in commercial real estate is not expected, but willingness to learn is.
