Coffee: Where and What Kind to Buy

So I read in LivinginPeru that "Brazil is the largest supplier of coffee in Latin America, with 60 million bags, followed by Colombia and Peru, with 17 million and 4 million bags each." But so far I haven't noticed much selection in the grocery stores or discovered any great coffee to buy. Would love to know where to shop or what brands to try. I love coffee and want to learn everything I can about Peruvian coffees.
Anybody have info or leads on this?

Great little cafe in Miraflores. The female owner is from New York and prepares American style deserts. Her partner is a Peruvian guy who handles the coffee. They have a big commercial roasting machine and prepare all sorts of fresh Peruvian coffees. It's a little on the pricey side but so worth it.

Vivanda has some fresh beans but they're not the best I've ever had but not the worst either. I could also use some more recommendations.

Personally I think that most of the coffee beans are going into export and as usual only small parts are staying in Peru. Anyhow even in Vivanda, Wong and Plaza Vea you find some good (?, I'm not a coffee drinker) coffees. For my husband I always buy his favorite coffee at Chef's Cafe on Larco and when I remember correctly Cafe Z on Benavides Diagonal has a wide variety as well.

I think that some of the best coffee here in Peru comes from Chanchamayo, Villa Rica. It can be found in Most super markets here.

We purchased some called "Green Gold" in Chanchamayo and everyone loved it. I myself do not drink coffee... ever but when I walked into their shop it smelled sooo good I actually wanted to try it. I did and it was good. Unfortunatley whatever we bought did not taste like it did there but the stuff we gave as gifts here in the States was a hit! I believe someone told me it is available in Lima.

Villa Rica is very nice. Even the package of 8 soles is nicer than more expensive ones.
