Pubs and of course Good old Pub Grub.
The list goes on and on.
I forgot pubs, definitely pubs, getting politely drunk in the sun with your mates on a Saturday afternoon while watching the football results come in and watching your accumulator fail yet again....and yes tea, pg tips tea, i wouldn`t be English if I didn`t miss tea

I'm back home now, but god how I missed pubs when i was in Peru! Basically Peru has no drinking or pub culture at all! Having a beer in a restaurant just can't compete with watching football on Saturday and Sunday afternoons by a real coal fire or catching up with the midweek games. Other things like pool dart leagues and beer gardens! And the fact that you'll find people out socializing at 11am and onwards compared to Lima where nothing happens until 9pm!
I live in a very rural area with only a couple of towns that have a population of 20,000 at the max, and yet it's amazing how there is way more stuff to do here when it comes to your free time than a city of nearly ten million people! Lima only really has Barranco and Miraflores and come on lets all admit it, neither of them are that brilliant really are they! Don't get me wrong, i love both of the places but they are both very limited!
I'm currently making the most of Marmite on Toast, Cheap affordable food on the go (which is almost impossible to find in Lima) and making up for time lost on not having Indian food!
Is there anything better than the sound of crunching snow under your feet and nice ice cold air in your lungs, way better than hot humid mosquito filled air anyday!
