the washing line

Do you hang your washing outside to dry in Lima?

I was used to live at a busy road in San Miguel.
Twice a week, cleaned my balcony. I collected almost half a bucket of black smog.
I couldn't imagine hanging my clothes out to dry.

Forget it. Too damp and dirty.
It's the lavandería for me.
Those places do great business.
I should know.
I used to own one with my girlfriend.
