Cosmetic Surgery in Peru

Can anyone recommend a reputable cosmetic surgeon? I would like a procedure done while in Peru. Am in Arequipa, but Lima seems a better place for this work? Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Not sure about Lima, but the Cusco medical specialists used to do a lot of trepanning. It certainly changed the appearance of the patients.

But I don't know if that is the "look" you want.

I have made the mistake of not seeing that the former post was severely "OFF TOPIC" & deserved a laugh.
I am seriously considering minor cosmetic surgery & at this time - received no guidance herein.

If you're ever in Ica, check out the Museo Regional de Ica for some good trepanning examples.

Look up the Plastic Surgeon who did work on Miss World (Peru).

Cesar Morillas, one of Peru’s most sought-after plastic surgeons, did give her a nose job and breast augmentation in February 2004

Just looking to get a minor - TOUCH UP, FACIALLY...
Any one had any experiences that they can share; especially as to the prices?
I have read that Panama & Columbia - have excellent medical tourist reputaions & fair pricing.

Would you rule out Peru for same?

There is a COLUMBIA in PA; very small town where "EVERYONE KNOWS YOUR NAME (or business)"!!!
Yes, I have read that Thailand is very well respected for medical tourism...

You ask for reputable, and I am sure that plastic surgeons cover more than boob jobs or but implants :).

There are too many cases of bad medical practice. It is not safe to recommend any plastic surgeon.

In any ELECTIVE MEDICAL PROCEDURE, there are RISKS; one has to wiegh the REWARDS of same.
The science of medicine will never be 100% risk-free; but I make my informed decisions on REFERRALS!
I would like to stay as close to Peru as possible for any procedures; maybe combine with a vacation.

A few years back I had eye lid surgery done in Santa Fe, Argentina with excellent results. Also had a facelift done in Tunisia also with excellent results.
