I have just received my stained glass tools here in Lima. I have setup a workshop but before I can use my electrical tools I need to find a transformer to convert the line voltage from 220 to 110. Does anyone know where I can find them? I live in Surco.

Any hardware store will have them - Sodimac, Maestro, etc.

I have dryer and washing machine that has been imported from the US and they sold me a transformer with them.

New ones are quite expensive but the sellers of second hand dryers and washing machines can get you one for far less.

I paid 45 soles for the one I needed for my machines, in Sodimac is saw them (same size) for 295 soles.

Hi Dale for a good quality 36 amp output 110v to 230v they are in Wong at 120 soles. I checked when I went shopping one hour ago.

That would Be a 36 amp step down transformer 230v to 110v

I think that is what Dale needs. His tools are all 110v
